In October 2026, DISCO SMS partners met in Athens, hosted by MILITOS, to review progress and coordinate the final phase of the project.
The agenda centred on four priorities: completing and documenting the educational action research, finalising the translation and integration of Module 3, completing the guidebook, and reviewing dissemination activities and their supporting evidence.
The action research brings teachers’ implementation experiences into the validation process. Alongside this work, the partnership is preparing the learning materials and practical guidance for wider use.
Partners also reviewed the documentation of institutional, national and international DISCO SMS dissemination activities, together with the project’s multiplier events.
The Athens meeting provided an opportunity to coordinate the remaining work and consider how the project’s resources can continue to support educators beyond the funded period.
