On 25–26 June 2026, the Budapest University of Technology and Economics hosted the DISCO SMS Face-to-Face Training for Teachers and Trainers.
The two-day programme brought together educators from the project’s partner networks to explore gamification, soft skills recognition and digital Open Badges. Building on the online course, the training focused on adapting these approaches to participants’ own teaching contexts.
Practical activities and discussions connected educational design with the use of digital tools. Participants explored how to identify soft skills, define badge criteria and design recognition systems that make learners’ achievements visible. The programme also addressed stackability, interoperability and the use of Moodle and the DIScoPLAYER platform.
The training provided a bridge between learning about the DISCO SMS approach and applying it in practice, preparing participants to develop and test their own teaching scenarios.
